Aptly sharing the name of one of the most revered artistic and technological geniuses of the High Renaissance—Leonardo da Vinci—this pioneering system uses technology to overcome some of the limitations of laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures. Jon Yamaguchi, MD, has used robotics in his general surgery practice since 2015.
